On the evening of March 27, the Shanghai Municipal 2019-nCoV Epidemic Prevention and Control Working Group issued a notice that Shanghai will implement risk control management and large-scale nucleic acid screening in batches with the Huangpu River as the boundary.

In the first batch, Pudong, Punan and adjacent areas were first sealed and controlled, nucleic acid screening was carried out, and the seal was lifted at 5 o'clock on April 1. At the same time, the key areas of Puxi area continue to implement sealing and control management.

The second batch, from 3 o'clock on April 1, Puxi district implemented sealing and control, carried out nucleic acid screening, and unsealed at 3 o'clock on April 5.


According to statistics, the number of confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV in China has reached 270858, and the form of epidemic prevention and control is grim. The number of new daily confirmed cases in Shanghai continues to rise, with more than 3,000 new asymptomatic infections for three consecutive days, and the prevention and control of the epidemic in Shanghai is facing great pressure.
